50% Sunblock with Airflow – Breathable HDPE mesh helps reduce direct sunlight and heat stress while allowing air and rainwater to pass through, providing balanced shade for plants and outdoor areas without creating a sealed cover.
Lock-Stitch Knitted HDPE – The knitted construction helps resist unraveling while remaining lightweight and flexible for installation over greenhouses, raised beds, vegetable gardens, kennels, patios, carports and barns.
Reinforced Edges and Corners – Taped borders and strengthened corners improve durability and help the shade cloth maintain its shape when installed with even tension across multiple support points.
Grommets Every 40 Inches – Metal grommets positioned along the reinforced edges make the cloth easier to hang using rope, clips or zip ties. Large sizes should be supported at multiple points to reduce excessive pulling on individual grommets.
Choose the Correct Shade Level – This 50% shade cloth reduces approximately half of incoming sunlight while maintaining ventilation. It is breathable and water-permeable, not waterproof and not a replacement for an insulated frost blanket.
